Friday, November 17 – 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (PST)

We are bringing back the popular Cut and Paste competition. This popular live online session will pair graduating seniors with professionals as their coaches to compete with each other. Moderated by Joe Bautista, a total of 8 students will compete for some cool prizes. Join us Friday, November 17 at 7:00 PM and root for the teams.

Saturday, November 18 – 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM (PST)

The morning session will be fully online, followed by in-person afternoon portfolio sessions in which industry professionals are paired up with students.

8:30 AM – 12:00 PM ONLINE

We will begin with registration and check-in from 8:30 to 9:00 am for students and industry professionals. At 9:00 am, we will have a few short welcome remarks, followed by a summary of the schedule for the event. At 9:15 am, our first speaker will kick off the event, followed by two additional hour-long sessions on various topics related to AI, including a panel discussion. At 12:00 pm, we will take a break for a virtual lunch and resume at 2:00 pm on campus. All students and professionals are invited to join in for a reception during lunch hours, 12:00 to 2:00 pm. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.

12:00 PM – 4:30 PM IN PERSON

At 2:00 pm, small groups of 2 to 3 students will each be paired up with an industry professional in a room for discussion and review/audit of portfolios. In these small classroom settings, professionals will provide critical feedback to help students improve their portfolios. Students, don’t be surprised if you are asked to do a quick design challenge, which is highly possible. Please be ready and willing to learn. The day will end around 4:30 and wrap up around 5:00 pm
